Default Grease Around Zerk Fittings

I just took out my brand new Outlander L Max 500 and rinsed it off with a garden hose last night to get all the mud off. I was gong to do a better job the next day and start trying to get all the mud off and noticed grease around the zerk fitting on the right rear shock. The other shock was clean, but could have been washed off last night. There was also grease leaking out of the front suspension where it attaches to the frame. I have a couple of questions. There was a small amount of grease on the front fittings but the rear right had about 1-2 tea spoons of grease around it.

1) Is this normal or does this indicate a problem?

2) Should I put grease back in and if so what type?

3) Should this go to the dealer? Taking to a dealer is a 4 hour round trip so I hope not.

Check if the fitting is lose. Maybe when it was greased the gun was not on the fitting tight before it had a few pumps from the gun and the grease just oozed over the fitting.
