Are they about the same in speed and acceleration? Or is the 3-wheeler faster (the 3 wheeler versions typically are).

And how would they be compared to a Banshee? Compared to my 200SX?

I would like to know because the 3 wheeler model is more in my price range.

Oh yeah, and would it have more travel in rear than my 200SX? I hit a jump with that and it just bottoms out. Ive hit my face on the handlebars multiple times.

I own a 250r 3 wheeler and it hauls ***. It is the 2nd one I have had and they will run right with a Banshee and smoke that poor 200sx. It is going to be harder to ride, if your used to a 4 wheeler. I have a 400 EX and it is easier to ride, but the 85 250R 3 wheeler is the most fun, wheelies, jumps great (has great travel in the shocks and their adjustable). The 3wheeled 250R will smoke a 4 wheeled version in a straight stretch and the 4 wheeler will win on the track. Both are great machines but 3 wheels = $1500.00 or less and 4 wheels ar $1500 and up!

I knew they would smoke my 200, anything would.

Hmmm, yeah, I notice a bit price increase for the extra wheel, 4k+ for the four wheeler.

Everyone says 3 wheels are dangerous, how do over four?

And, do 250R's run strong like 200SX's even though they are old?

In canada, you normally pay the 3-wheeled version for less than 950$

Is it possible to get a 250r subframe and put it on a 250r threewheeler and turn it into a 4-wheeler

Now someone reply to my other threads.

if you want to make the 250r 3 wheeler into a 4 wheeler, buy a quad frame, DONT TRY TO MODIFY IT!! They used to make kits that you weld on but they were messed up, looked like crap and handled like crap. 3 wheelers are great.. if you know how to ride, no reason for them to be dangerous.. my suggestions are to get some widening blocks for the rear axle (makes it a little more stable, less tippy) and maybe a pipe and silencer and it will run nice and awesome. the 310 kits run like a bat out of hell on them too.. my neighbor has a 310 on alky and has a 10" stretch and still pulls wheelies in 6th gear.

a silencer is like a muffler on a car, yeah it quiets it and yes.. you do need it, your bike will still sound awesome. I reccomend getting a FMF fatty pipe + silencer for an 85'-86' 250r 3 wheeler, make sure when you get your bike check out the piston, cylinder, etc so nothing is wrong with it. also make sure to check your radiator fluid, break oil, tranny oil, etc. You will thank yourself later.

Here is a picture of a pipe and silencer for a 250r 4 wheeler.
