Our 2002 scrambler will not fire. had coil checked and it was good . I was told it maybe the stator, but i dont know how to check this !
could this be the problem or should I look else where.

 

That or replace the battery have had to change the one on the 50 before because of it

 

I got a Sportsman 90 in December '02 and it lost spark 2 weeks after I got it. The stator was the problem and it was repaired under warranty and was told by dealer that it was not a simple job to repair due to location of stator on flywheel.
