#1
I just got a pred 500, and it is sooo cool. i am looin to add some after-market stuff to it. i am lookin for a new exaust, and some kind of air filter. if anyone can help in anyway, it would be very helpfull. any sprocket suggestions would be cool too.

Drop a tooth on the sprocket and if you dont mind spendint the $$ get a Trinity full system. It rocks! Ddint like the drop in filter ,to me it didnt give enough so I went with a K&N direct to the carb, had the float bowl adj. and jetted to a 170.This things screams. With a Drop in filtre it is Dyno at 51.8 HP according to Trinity so with the K&N direct, you can safely add a horse or two more to that.... Alot seem to be happy with the Air force kit, havent heard much on CT or Yoshi yet, but according to Yoshis charts, it looks like you take a power 'loss" in the bottom end which we all know isnt the best thing for the Predator.I was dissapointed in that, I have a Yoshi on my 400ex and I think it was the best choice for it.. Theres sooo much out there, you should talk to some of the members at predatorowners.com also and check out all the pros and cons... Lots of choices and we all have our own preferences.....Hope this helps ..... TINA

I went with just the slip-on WB and drop in K&N with some airbox mods. If I decided to get any kind of big bore kit, I'm going with the same exhaust as Tina has. So far no one has really impressed me on the full system, the stock header does really great, there arn't a lot of gain in this area. For the cost, the slip-on is all I need till I open up the motor some more. Some people go with a 13 tooth front sprocket. I lost too much top end going that way, so I'm changing 1 tooth on the rear. Also, front rezzies are well worth the money if you do a lot of jumping and such. I was able to really lighten up the front end for trail riding, while the rezzies keep me from bottoming out over the nasty stuff.

Nothing like pulling over on the side of the trail and having a cold one!! What's cool is they come in any brand you choose! Ya, too bad that Raptor is in the garage getting worked on more than it's out riding. Hell, been more costly than my old 95 Scrambler, and it's been rebuilt 3 times already!

3 times huh....... My bud with a 02 Rappy has had a hand full of probelms with his too...Im thinkin of maybe a 440 kit for my 400ex next year unless Honda comes out with something sweet.Ive put a ton of hours on my 400ex in a year so it will need a rebuild next year........
