Is anyone leaving the airbox stock if so
The popping is caused by the W/B pipe, not the k&N. if you want to remedy the popping, you're gonna hafta try getting more air in the carb. Some have tried 5-6 univents in the airbox, and others have gone with a K&N clamp on directly to the carb with an outerwear, 170main, and 50 pilot and then a filter for the crankcase breather. I know Modquad has a very good setup with his clamp-on and is even race proven so far to hold out mud and dirt...I'm almost thinking about switching over when I get a pipe...but right now I'm still stock exhaust, so I will keep the airbox stock too!
