scrambler 50
#3
another site is WRH Racing... I'm starting to build up my kid's Scrambler 50... nothing big so far.
We've taken off the exhaust restrictors, the goofy air snorkel on the breather box, and gone to a B7HS plug... Some say the B7HS is to hot for summer, so I'm going to try a B8HS this weekend. I've also ordered a 19 tooth front sproket for a 90cc scrambler, which should give it a little more top speed.
I'm also planning on playing with the jetting a bit... Some say a 80, some say a 85 main jet for how this thing is now... we'll see.
Another thing, on my year ('02 same at yours), I think that my rev limiter is one that cannot be overridden, so I'm looking for a stock CDI unit from a year that didn't have a limiter. No wire to cut or plate to remove on our '02 models.
WRH has everything that you would need... pipe, intake, big bore kits, CVT parts, etc. The owner is really busy lately, but will eventually get back with you and is helpful.
