It's not that easy. We don't know you or where or how you'll ride. The two you mentioned are very different quads. I would buy the Raptor between these two. (Clutch, it's lighter, it's blue[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img], retails a little cheaper now) You might like a heavy auto with a shaft.

 

why not just get a ds650, or don't and get beaten by one, j/k, but a little more info on the type of riding you do is needed to answer this, if you do the dunes i would for sure get the ds though

 

i need 2 know what sort of quad is best suited for me i'm 6'4 and 350lbs. ideally i want a 4 stroke and i have never ridden a geared quad
and i want it for fun use mostly nothing real serious

 

"never riden a geared quad", eh. does that mean you prefer not to. if then i would say the KFX 700. its abig quad and you should feel incontrol of it since you a big person. otherwise with a smaller quad it would feel like tiping alot.
now doesn’t this sound familiar, its as if someone’s repeating them selves!?

i have been advised on a raptor but as a 1st time rider i feel this will be 2 powerful

 

never to much power, just maybe to big. and what do ya mean as a first time rider, thought you said you never riddin a geared quad? indicating that you have riddin a non geared quad, what ever that might be assuming all quads have gears.
