when i turn the gas on my trailblazer bogs down and cuts off when i put it on reserve it does fine do i have trash in somthing

If your tank is full, yes there could be some trash in the main gas line somewhere. Could be in the pick up tube or the petcock. It would be easiest to remove the gas tank and turn it upside down and see what you got, after draining the gas of course. It will not hurt anything to run it for a little whil on reserve unless the trash moves to the reserve part, then you would have possibly 2 clogs. Dont be surprised if the petcock is installed backwards . I had one from HONDU like that .

 

I had the same problem on a 00 TB. It was a bad fuel petcock and had
to be replaced.
