Does anyone have information on the new Bomb BAJA X? I have read what little I can find on them but no real details. My not so local dealer has ordered six of them and retail is $6899($400 less than a regular BAJA?)
If this is true the rappy's days may be numbered!

I just bought a Baja X for 6400 here in the buffalo area. It has all of the same features of the baja but with a few extras. Full aluminum skid plates, Higher pressure shocks, nerf bars. The 04' DS is lighter than last years by about 50 pounds and has a shorter swing arm and a bumped up rev limiter. I don't pick mine up until July. It should be one of the first ones in western New York.

 

Sounds great! Did you get a brochure? Looking for wheelbase and width (footprint) and more info on the increased redline. I believe the X is supposed to have gas shocks any truth to that rumor? Did your dealer tell you what retail was? Mine told me $6899 this seems low due to the fact it is a baja with more stuff(better shocks,nerfs etc).

I already paid for mine. I paid $6400, it was the cheapest around. yes the rumor about the gas shocks is true according to the Bombadier site and the brochure
