TQRA

The TQRA is a great organization, they have there own website www.tqra.com. There is a race this coming weekend 6-29-03, at Nocona , which is on the central border of Texas and Oklahoma, close to Muenster. This race track is great, they are having practice on Saturday and racing on Sunday. It is a great group of people who run it and race it.

The people that run the TQRA are also the owners of Badlands MX. Great track and great people. I went to Nocona for the winter TQRA series when I raced quads and it was an awesome track. The best dirt I've seen at any track. It's a pretty easy track and if you still have some energy at the end of the races, they might keep the track open for some open practice. It was a 4 1/2 hour drive for me so I went on home, but I still had a good time. I almost DNF'ed the first moto when my fuel line got knocked off and I endoed real bad on the first table top. My quad made it about half way down and I over jumped the table. When I finally got my **** runnin again, it was the last lap and I just finished in time to get last place. In the second moto I had the far left at the gate (DON"T get the far left, it's the worst place) and I let everyone go at the start. I was dead last (16th, I think) in the first corner and I worked my way up to 5th by the end of the race, and finished 8th overall. Not bad I guess. You should check the series out though, it should be a lot of fun, and us pesky bikes aren't aloud .
