I was hoping to get a little help.

I recently picked up a 85 200x. Which i'm bring back to life after several years of storage. My main prblem is the kickstarter. It won't engage regularly. One kick it spins the motor then the next 5- 10 kicks it just fall to the floor and does not turn the motor. I've taken off the the clutch cover and little forward kick gear cover. Everything looks fine. To get to the rest of the mechanism, it appears I would have to split the cases. Has anyone else had this problem or have any other Ideas. Thanks.

I had the same problem when I first bought mine, had to have the bottom end torn apart to fix.

 

Got the same problem with ours and we wont fix it cause we know it's a pain in the....
