Sorry, but got a dirtbike question

My friend is going to buy a new dirtbike, but he cant make his mind up. He either wants the RM125 or the YZ125. Which one would be better with mods on it?

Both are good bikes, but the YZ 125 has been a better bike for the past 5 years.............
