I have a 98 Blaster and am planning on putting on an FMF silencer, but dont know which one to put on, the power core 2 or the turbine core 2. I have heard that there is no difference between the two other than that the turbine core is a legal silencer and the power core isnt. Is this true? Are there any noticeable power differences between the two? Thanks for helping me out.

I don't know about on the blaster, but I used to have a 99 CR80 with a Turbine Core 2, my cousin had a KX100 with a Power Core 2. We are about equal on rider skill. I would beat him in every drag race. We didn't switch rides though. Of course I beat him stock too. But anything is better than stock.

I have a Turbine Core on my bike. The performance difference should be very little. If you need a spark arrestor, it is the way to go. The add on spark arrestor on my previous baffle destoyed the baffle. There shoud be a slight performance improvement with a Turbine core over a Power core with an add on spark arrestor.
