When i bought this i was told the problem was the carb being clogged. i cleaned and no crank. i charged the battery and it will crank. i tested the spark plug and it does not spark. i used a electric test to see if it was getting power from the wire and its not getting power. i have no idea what it could be. does anyone have any ideas on what it could be?

 

i meant to say i cleaned the carb and no crank. also i used an electric test light that lights up a light bulb if its getting electricity. i tried while cranking and while the key was just turned on.

 

did it crank when you bought it from the seller? No clogged carb will keep the starter from turning.

Anyways, it now sounds like you got it to crank with no spark. Verify you have a good spark plug if your getting power to the coil. If your not getting power to coil, verify if there is a cut off switch on the rear of the quad which is usually tethered with a rope for learners.
