I finally decided to sell my '98 300ex and get a '00 400ex I rode one and really, really liked it so as soon as i sell my 300ex i will be getting a brand new 400ex. I called my local honda shop and the price is $5299 final price maybe even a little less...
So do any 400ex riders regret getting theirs and if there is anything i should keep my eye on before riding it much?
Thanks

No regrets at all on mine. From what I've read you should check all the bolts and such to ensure it all stays together. Plus make sure you follow break in guide lines. Ride a modified EX with a pipe and K&N filter. I think it changes it a lot and that way you'll know if yo want a new ex after you break it in. Ride Red!!!!!!!!!!!

No dought in my mind.... Get the 400ex. I have had no problems with mine, but as suggested check the screws and bolts just for your own piece of mind. You should do that to any machine you buy, new or used...

No regrets here either. Even my friends who have banshees and an lt500r quadzilla, say that it is not the fastest quad but definetly the funnest quad to ride. Because it don't tire you out to ride it hard and it wheelies an jumps the best and easyest. But from what I have heard on the 2000 models you should check the bolts and the throtle to make sure you are getting full throtle. Good luck, Mike
