OIL & clutch slipping
#1
I am helping out a freind of mine that is having some clutch slip problems. Already has HD clutch springs and has orderd the barnett carbon disks. I know when i was running the NOS I was told by several people to run Hondaline HP4 non-moly oil. I did and it ran awesome, I never had clutch slip problems. Now here is the kicker, his nearest honda shop only has 2 quarts of oil. Honda people cant live with them and cant kill them........anyways What is a good substitute for the Hondaline oil for high HP motors IE, NOS, turbo, Nitromethane, 760's, 733's, 830's??????
Thank you for your time and consideration O kind folks of ATV connection land!!!

Same thing here. I really like the HP4 and just say no to those clutch disks.
I am not real high HP, I don't think, and not much help but.....

I run the stock fibers and steels with Klotz 20w50 syn. Run the Pami springs and no clutch slipage, even with the NOS.
The Barnetts won't hold the big horse power even with the Pami springs.

Im a little concerned,
I just purchased the Barnett carbon fibor clutch kit, but have not installed it yet. Can you guys tell me why I shouldnt bother installing them, and then fill me in on the ones I should go with. My stock clutch is almost gone, and it needs replacing.
Thanks,

Hmmm sounds like I may need to tell him to find some stock clutch disks. He is using the TVI springs which from what i understand are basically the same as Pami. Does anyone have a stock clutch pack he could buy from ya, he needs it before friday
