Default My batt. is dead.. two questions about a replacement

hey guys my batt is dead, been on the charger for days and wont hold volts.... soo couple Q's first where to buy a replacement online? second.. the batt sure is heavy.. is there any lighter options? and could someone check there batt.. is it kind of little loose in the holder, mine has never been messed with since new and its not held in the spot real tight.. has a little play.. is that how it is suppossed to be.. if not ill get more padding when i get a new one.. thanks guys........

Mine is real tight in the holder. Not sure if there is a lighter aftermarket battery for the Ds. That is a good question though.

ok, thanks for the reply anyone else? maybe since it was little loose thats why it went south?? anyway i found the R.M. ATV has replacements for $56 so i ll go that route.. but anyone know about a lighter version maybe like a multi cell batt... and will some others check to see how tight there batt is in the holder.. thanks guys

Haven't heard of any lighter batts. When I got my 03 the batt wouldn't hold a charge but the dealer replaced it under warranty. I found that you may have the amps to turn the engine but you may still not have enough to make spark.

The new batt works great! Both were tight in the holder.

Mine is extremely tight in the holder. I bought mine from the dealer. By the time I added S&h from Rocky, the dealer was the same.

thanks guys,, theres no Bomb dealers in TX so RMATV will have to do... thanks for the replies.. ill make sure the new one is held in there tight.. thanks again
