What # is the main jet in the stock DS carb?
#1
I just received my White Bros. R-4 slip on for my DS. I need to know what size (number) the stock main jet is so that I have an idea of what size I need with the new exhaust.
Thanks in advance.

I think its like a 165. ???? Don't spend the money on the dyno jet kit ,just save it for the carb kit. You will be money ahead.

main jets are $2 each - the money you pay for a dynojet kit has nothing to do with the assortment of jets in it, you're paying for the r&d that went into the design of the superior needle they come with. if you want a smoother power curve get it, if not then just get a few mikuni mains.

Matt,
Bought the DS about 2 months ago. Are you shocked?? I sold the Banshee shortly after. Really shocked now?? I like the DS a lot, but I'm afraid that I may end up with another Banshee. The DS needs some company in the garage!!
I put a 170 main in it today. We'll see how it does. I just bought the 170 & 175 mains. Didn't want to spend the money for the Dynojet kit.
Thanks for all the replies.
