2003 spoprtsman 500 wont start-lights and gauges are all over

Default 2003 spoprtsman 500 wont start-lights and gauges are all over

MY ELECTIC START WONT WORK-PULL START DOES AND WHEN U PUT A SCREW DRIVER OVER THE SOLENOID IT TURNS OVER-IM THINKIN CABLE CONNECTIONS. AND O YA WHEN I GET THE SPPEDO TO STAY ON LONG ENOUGH BATTERY GAUGE IS LIKE AT 18 ND THEN WILL DROP DOWN TO LIKE 14-STILL NOT RIGHT-ITS A 12.5 VOLT

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Default 2003 spoprtsman 500 wont start-lights and gauges are all over

Try taking the wirees off of the solenoid and clean them I have had corrosion on tthe cables and did the same thing.

I wouldn't worry about running at 14 V, It's not unusual to run 13 or 14. I'd be far more concerned if would be running under voltage.
