Bumpers for a Gas Gas?
#1
while i don't need one yet, don't want to mangle the pretty stock bumper... so, does anyone know if anyone makes an aftermarket bumper that will fit the GasGas wild HP quads?
i was down at graves motorsports with the quad on monday and they had a couple different ones that we tried for fit(z400, banshee, raptor, etc.), but the only one that looks like it may come close is one for a c-dale... vertical spacing of the bolt holes looks correct, but i'd have to add spacers & long bolts to bolt it on... i'd like a little better fit if possible.

Try AC racing. I called them the other day about a swingarm skid plate. I read in a mag that they were working on some stuff so I figured I'd give them a call. They return my call today and said $95 for a pre-production or early production skid plate so I'm sure they have a bumper for it. If you can wait about a month or so Pro Armor should have the Texa Longhorn style bumper Bill Balance and company are running at the GNCC's. This one is my first choice. I called and talked to them the other day and they are looking into getting a quad from a local dealer to get the specs off of it.

i talked with a local guy at the track today, i may see what he can build. i'm patient with things like this so if pro armor will be building one for it that's the way i may go.... that or PRM if they have them.
i rode a local track today for practice, it is one rough SOB with the bikes cuttiing it to heck & the track isn't quad friendly to begin with... one thing's for sure, i want to put on a thumb throttle... it was a little scary at times. i am out of shape big time too.

I had talked to West Coast Racing and they told me they were making sprockets. You may want to check with them. You can find their info at www.gasgasatv.com/californiadealer.htm
Make sure you say you found them on the site.
Thanks
