Hey guys,

My heat shield broke off at one of the bolts (it was partially rusted around the bolt) as I landed a jump.

I wont buy a new one, but I was wondering if anybody has a yellow heat shield they are not using and could get me for cheap ?!?

Can someone easily paint those?!

I could sand it and spray-paint it yellow if I could find the right color paint....You guys think that would work?!?

What if I was to completely sand it. Would it give that steel look, or would it just look like crap.


I don't want him wasting his time sending me a heatshield I won't use...So I want to make sure that i'd use it first.

Spray paint it.....Black if you cant match yellow.

 

tyre, u can sand it n repaint it, i did that 2 mine, n also did some extra stuff, but i used a paint gun

Tirespinner, you can just get high temp. paint from walmart and paint it whatever color you want. That's what I did but get higher than 500 degree paint....... Found out you need hotter paint LOL. But I want one of those pipe guards please!!
