Default Help me decide please.

I know there are tons of posts on this topic, and I've read them all. Now I'm on info overload. I'm a beginner rider, but I won't consider anything small because I know I would be trading up in no time. I want something good out of the box. I dont plan to mod. I'm also looking for something that is good for all types of riding. Low maintainence is a big plus. I guess I'm looking for the best overall value. (Isn't everybody?) I really dont want a 400EX or a Raptor. I'm also not loyal to any brand. What I've been considering is a predator or z400. Any other suggestions are welcome!

I also need advice on a trailer. I have no idea as to how much it would cost and how to get a good deal on one.

Thanks !!!!

P.S. I didn't realize I've been a member for so long LOL

If low maintenance is a big thing to you then I'd buy a 400 EX. They're air-cooled, reliable, easy to work on..especially the chain adjustment, & with all of the newer sport models coming out right now you can find a good deal on one. You can ride a 400 EX hard & put her away wet!

They're all good and gonna have plenty of a$$. If your gonna do mostly trail riding I would look at things like ground clearence, reverse, price, etc.

The Z400 would be the best imo, cause it has reverse but looks like the rear sits 3" off the ground and that can't be good! The Preditor sits higher in the rear but don't have reverse

Thanks for the thoughts. I went to the dealership and looked at some z400s and predators. I must say that the frame on the z400 looks very cheap compared to a predator. I really like the predator so I think I'm going to go that route. Does anyone know how much and where I can get an ATV trailer? I want space for two, but also want it to fit on one side of a two car garage. The dealership has one that goes for 1599, but said I could have it for 1499 OTD with lifetime plates. I kinda think that a trailer from a dealership is probably more expensive than it should be. Where is a good place to look? All the sites I found on the internet where pretty expensive as well.

Thanks again
