The 250EX is a sweet atv. Runs smooth.

250ex are the baddest quad ever made. I got smoked by one last weekend. I told him to try that again after I get my LT500R running. But I'm afriad he will still be able to beat me and that he may take my lunch money so I'm not going to ride there anymore.

well its not a top quad so it doesnt compare. it may run smooth (b/c its a honda) and do ok and be peppy but it does nothing great. does things OK, but not anything great. its a good bike to learn on and go around the yard in, but a 300ex is superior to it. $900 price difference. worth every penny.

It costs about half, is a lot slower, and is much more reliable than the top quads "in the business."

It's kinda the jack of all trades, master of none like 20characters said. But
it does what it's supposed to do, get beginners hooked and thirsty for more
so they buy bigger quads.

trx250ex, actually the Mojave is a very reliable quad, hardly any problems at all, we had one for 13 years and it never got one top end job and was abused from day one, and it rarely had a problem. As far as how the 250EX compares, I agree that its ok at everything, but not the best at any of them, but great for beginners to learn on, and fun to just play around on.
