Here is my problem
I installed the kit per the instuctions
now my machine runs terrible from 1\4 throttle until about 3\4 throttle then she clears up
I pulled the plug and it was fuzy looking and black
what to do
has anyone else tried this kit with any luck

you didn't say if you had done any other modifications. the kit by itself would cause the engine to run too rich. what else have you done?

 

the only other thing that I installed at the same time as the jet kit was a K and N air filter

 

sounds like it could be that the clip on the jet needle might be in the wrong groove, double check with the instructions on that.

 

Do you have a pipe on your Scram or just the K&N ? Well it really does not matter you\r too rich raise the clip on your needle to allow it to drop futher in . this should clear it up.

did you install the dyno kit yourself? if so any problems that you ran into
there is a little brass piece that the main jet rides in did you re-use this piece or leave it out

 

Yes I did install it myself . By this brass piece do you mean the tube it screws into ? Did you adjust your airscrew ? to me it sounds like you are rich . Did you do everything the directions said for your altitude and or mods ?
what is your elevation and mods tell me your jet size and airscrew settings and I will try to help you out

 

I have no other mods but a Kand n air filter
I have adj the air polit from 3 turns out from fully seated to 6 turns out still rich
something else is wrong I just don't know what yet
I @ 500-2500 elv.
150 main
stage one needle (I don't remember the number on it)
all clip in the correct order per instructions
and I used the spring that comes with the kit
