Default Is it worth buying a jet kit or just buy the jets I need????

I need to rejet my raptor and I am not sure if i really need to buy the entire jet kit I know they come with the new needles but do I really need them my raptor is nearly brand new. I have a prodesign filter kit , tabs cut out of my snorkle and a white bros e-series slip on with stock head pipe not sure if the head pipe is worth getting either but as of right now I am wanting to see how it runs with stock pipe and new filter mods with slipon and jetting.

So is buying a jet kit worth it do I really need the new needles or do they actually make a difference?? I figure I can get 3 jets 150/155/160 for $10 and that should be the ones I need 2 of the 3 three that is, instead of 55-85 for a jet kit. Also anyone have any recommendations for the mods i have to start with rejetting? jet sizes? needle position? air/fuel mixture screw?

Even if you bought every jet in a jet kit I think it would still be cheaper

The jet kit also includes there special needles which allow more fuel to flow in the midrange circuit, and you can't get that from the stock needles. There are many different kits out there that claim they are the best, I have heard from other users in this forum that the yamaha jet kit (gyr I think?) is pretty good But, that's my 2 cents.

Buy yourself a GYTR jet kit, replace what you need to, do a search on jetting with white brother slip on. I did this with my yoshi, got many different jetting situations for all regions tried a couple different setups and it rips.

Id just have the dealer re-jet it. They get it almost perfect. Don't waste your time doing it yourself. (If you do you will be taking the carb off and putting it back on many times)

WE JUST BOUGHT THE A BUNCH OF JETS AND IT WAS STILL ALOT CHEAPER. BECAUSE YOU MAY NEED TO REJET IT DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU RIDE.
