Default Warrior only starts in neutral...

My wife's 01 Warrior will only start in neutral. It has had the EB removed and an aftermarket clutch lever and perch installed. Is there any way to get it to start in any gear? Thanks.

Yeah, I think you pull out the clutch sensor plug and plug it into its self so it always thinks the clutch is pulled. I cant remember if you plug it into its self or leave it unplugged, but im sure you will figure it out.

jakal is right

I think the EB sensor you just leave disconnected but the clutch sensor you connect the wires together. 90% sure.

I meant I want it to start in any gear with the clutch pulled in. Right now it only starts in neutral. We do a lot of duning and if she gets stuck on the side of a steep hill and the motor stalls it is a pain to find neutral. I would rather have her just pull in the clutch and start it.

Thanks for the help. I will see if I can find the clutch sensor and hook it back up.

Just get the lil wire on the perch and follow it to the connector. The one for the e brake I think you disconnect completely. Clutch you complete the circut.

MY buddy had a Warrior, same problem finding netural is a sob, but he never starts it in gear, but I understand your point about your wife stalling on a sidehill and needing to start it up in gear. Heck the last time I stalled on a sidehill it went over and over, ouch.
