2001 Yamaha Warrior Wiring Problem
#1
2001 Yamaha Warrior YFM350 - Was riding at lost trail in PA when it crapped out on me. Had a bad battery which had massive leaks, replaced it with a new one. One of my buddies suggested that the acid went straight through the harness. Had good compression and motor was running better than ever (new carb) and now it has no spark. Spark plug is fine. CDI possibly? Dont want to buy a new one and have that not be the problem. Any suggestions? Diagrams?

Did the battery split or boil? If it boiled, the regulator is faulty, you may get away with fitting a new regulator but it could also have cooked the CDI. beyondupnorth is right though, a good manual can save money on un-needed electrical components.

Most of the time no spark on a warrior ends up being a stator. If you have a OHM meter you can check the resistances on the plugs that come out of the stator. If you have any questions PM me and I can give you some help.
