Default tvi 720 report.

well just got home from florence, wish i could tell you i had all it took to ride that thing. i'm running stock swingarm and then i had went to 8 paddle 23" haulers , throw in the the sand was very dry, the tires would just roast. well went out and rode a little and kind of broke the engine in, with the sand so dry it was hard to tell where the power change was, well we headed over to comp and made a few runs and all seemed good the engine really revs with the race head and quick. well i didn't have much for racing except some poor predator that took several poundings even with about 2 quad head start. well then came the first test a raptor that had been edging me with the stage two, well he came up and didn't really stop, it worked ok though, i passed him at about 1/45 of the hill. well i could tell you of all kinds of race wins, i guess the most comp from four strokes came from 2 770 raptors, they were there but if our hill was longer the ds really would have put the hurt to them, it would just pull away nothing they could do. one of them had nos, but he didn't have any juice that must have really hurt to keep losing. well the racing got hard because all that would race were the super banshees, i'm talking the 70 -90 range they would put several lengths on the 720 but they were happy to do it. but after while that was all that would race, never lost to any other fourstrokes all weekend. then i went out to the flats and it goes much faster than most should in the dunes, i think it really works great there i'll have a lot of adjustment to do yet but the power is unbelieveable, well i'll tell you guys more later but i need to get to bed.

should be soon dune the little guy is driving me crazy about the honda. the ds is now kind of like your raptor was lots of power to the point the front will stand at any moment, i was worried it might not rev as well but i was very wrong on that. well i'll let you know when we head out that way.

Sweet report.

Wait 'til the sand gets wet and you have more grip. . . the front end will really want to come up then!

well, i went out this weekend with sandman, and that 720 was something else. I wasn't very happy with my trinity exhaust with the 190 jet until sandman helped me out and we rejetted to 172.5. head pipe was turning a little blue so i think about a 175 or 177.5 mikuni will do the trick. thought i was almost catching the 720 at first...after rejetting i was only about 2 quads behind...then i realized sandman was running his wife's stage 2. he went and got the 720 and it was rediculous. he would give me about 2 quad start and then chase me down and way surpass me, even on that short hill. after seeing that thing run i might be saving up a little cash. i even rode the 720 a few times and was a little scared to bring it over on me...only gave it about half throttle and still beat every four stroke i raced

Hey ,

Im currently installing a few mods, about the only thing I have left out is the dual fcr's. Everyone keeps talking about the tvi 720. Can someone shed some light on this big bore kit, who is doing it, and what kind of dollars are we talking? Also, I have had the head ported and polished already, would I need to do further head work to get the big bore kit installed? I know, I know, lots of questions, but you people have been great with all the input so far, and I know Im not the only one that appreciates it. This forum has rekindled my love of the DS, I was beginning to think I was alone in this. I remember the day I first saw the DS, and knew nothing about it. When the big bay door opened at the local dealership, the sun shone on it, angels were singing, and all I could say was, what the hell is that, I gotta get it. On the first ride, I got off shaking the adreniline was pumping so much. All my buddies with the 400's said, aw, its just to big. They were forced to respect it when they got tired of eating my roost in sand, dirt, and gravel. All I had to say was, if you want to lead, just pass me!!! Anyway, I could go on for hours with this religious expeirience I had. So if anyone can point me in the right direction for the BIG bore kit, that would be great.

DStroyer: You need to talk to Gary at TVI Power & Sports. His number is (503) 648-1254. Good luck.
