Vin Numbers
#4
I know on my warrior they seem to be in a bad location (almost on the underside of one of the bottom frame tubes), however they are somehow stamped into the frame. You may try to clean up the area real well and look at it. You may be able to take a sharpie type of marker or paint and "fill" in the VIN so you can actually read it if you need to.
It really seems to be about the WORST possible place you can put it.

Did you check under the tank and the part of the frame that runs down too towards the peg?

I didnt check under the tank. I will check there and see if I can clean that other one up. You are right, that is a bad place to put it. Also, how are you suppost to prove that you bought it without titles? I bought it used.

If you buy a new frame from yamaha, it doesn't have a vin number. It is just a part such as if you bought a wheel hub. Just in case you were wondering. Honda and all others do use a VIN though and you have to have your title changed.
