That one is wrong, IM sure they will change it. Stock rear wheel is 40.

Stock air filter and airbox, though! That will account for something.

i Dont understand this..the yz450 dirt bike is supposed to make 52 rwhp stock..and besides the pipe and airfilter it is almost the same as th yz....I dont see how it could lose 21 hp that easy....

 

the must have fabricated the chart, they obviosly don't have a bike yet, but want to start B/O pipes. Or there dyno is broken.

 

I wouldnt get my hopes up that the YFZ is going to make more than 40rwhp. Just wait until a few of the forum members actually dyno there bikes. Then we will start seeing the big pic. Dont get me wrong, I would love to see a bike that light make alot of horsepower bone stock.

 

In case ya'll haven't heard, every dyno gives a different reading. Yes the dirtbike makes around 50hp at the rear wheel, but that is with a non detuned motor, and motorcycles have less power loss thru the drivetrain than quads do. I believe fmf's graph more than the 42 hp one I saw, I figure it is probably right at the same rwhp stock as a raptor.

 

Like he said, every dino machine is different. What is most important is the comparison of before mods vs after. And, why doesn't anybody ever give us the torque curve??
