hello, please take a look at my pictures and tell me what you think of the 250x i might get. i will try to tell you all the mods i know of. i am not sure of the brands of everything but i will try.

nerf bars
aluminum clutch lever
maier plastics
a 3 gallon gas tank instead of the 2.3 gallon one that came stock
i don't know the brand of the seat but there is a sticker on there somewhere
lonestar handlebars
a kill switch
and a pipe of some sort. i can't figure out what kind it is. i might have to look closer

he also has every single stock part in a box that somes with the quad.

is this 250x worth the $1750 he wants. it is really clean and it runs great. well clean for an 87' at least.

I'd offer $1,600. Thats reasonable if not a little generous.

 

Yeah $1600 does sound like a fair price. I think that seat cover is a B.A.D.Saddles... They make a flame one like that.

 

i think you are right about the seat. i remember now. the problem is we already offered him $1600 and he said he doesn't have to sell it and if he does he can't take that much of a loss. he said he needs the $1750 to sell it. my dad wants me to just make him wait and not tell him anything so maybe he will want the money more and will come down on his price. but i'm afraid it will be sold if i don't do anything about it. so i guess i have to have another talk with good old dad.

Hey Matt, I live near you. By the Meijer store off 37. Where do you ride mostly? We go to Haspin, the Badlands and we found a dynamite place in Kentucky. That's a sweet quad. Did you get that in Ft Wayne?
