Why does everybody like the honda 250r over the lt250r and the tecate 4? Was the honda that much better?

just like why a z400 is better than a 250ex, i think.

 

It wasnt that just eveyone liked it better. It is the fact that they were better and still are better. There are nothing wrong with the others, but you dont see them for sale at rediculous prices. Honda just had the better design and with their great reliable motors made the machines sought after pieces.

 

what i ment was like the qualitys where better. like the suspension and power, the handling, things like that. im am thinking this but i havent even seen a 250r in person so i dont know much about them. this seems to be the case.

 

ride one and see. suzukis werent bad, they just didnt handle as good. the tecate4 was faster, but didnt handle as good. it's not always about speed- if you cant feel confident in the bike and put the power to the ground, then the power is wasted. some will argue this, and if they do so what, but neither have the quality that honda has, IMO.

 

the suspensin was superior to teh other biks... and you will often here that it was so ahead of its time that it is still being used today... by other manufacturers none-the less
