tires for ex
#1
I need new tires and would like to stick with the stock height. I ride alot of gravel, trails, and NOT alot of mud. I need a tire that is light, but long lasting. I think i want 4 ply, but how much more weight does the 6 ply add?

What is the stock height for this quad? 20 or 22? I have Holeshot XCT's on my 300ex. They do their job pretty good. They are fair in mud, which you say you rarely ride in. Great on dirt, horrible in snow. Climb good. Mine are 6ply and my 300ex pulls them just fine. Hope that I helped.

I bought the holeshot XC and they are a 6 ply tire and stayed the same height (20) but, I went a inch wider. They are alright in the mud, but if you don't ride in the mud alot I think they would be a good purchase for you. Let us know how you made out? Later

THE BEST ALL AROUND TIRE YOU CAN GET AND WILL LAST A LONG TIME IS THE MAXXIS ALL TRAK
22-11-9, WHEN YOU PUT THE TIRES SIDE BUY SIDE
NOT MUCH DIFFERENCE IN HEIGHT AT ALL. THE PAIR I HAVE, BEEN ON 3 DIFFERNT BIKES OVER THE YEARS AND I HAVE NEVER PUT A PLUG IN THE TIRES YET.

i have a 300 ex, sorry. are the 22in xct light? Could i use them for racing? I am planning on getting a 14 tooth front sprocket and 22 in tires. But if i get 20 wont it just cancell out the sprocket. I have a white bros. pro meg pipe that needs more revs. I think these two add ons would be the easiest and cheapest way to do that.

i have them on my 250x...they work well under most conditions....seem to wear well on road work too!
