Default ds50 vs drr50

The ds50 and drr50 are almost the same except for the shocks and pipe. Has anyone got an opinion or had experence on how much difference these two things make when racing. Also any suggestions on jetting and air box mods for these models. Can anyone suggest a good DRR dealer in california or one that will ship.

The shocks on the DRR are of a little better quality thatn the DS, but they are not Works shocks by any means. If you are going to race in a place that the shocks have to stay the same then the DRR is the better choice. I was not aware of a different pipe between the two. I do know there is different silencer end on some models. One end has a removable spark arrestor and the other has a tube that goes into the pipe about two inches that serves as a spark arrestor. Take the airbox off and run a Uni filter in its place. You will have to rejet to a 85 or 87.5 for this air filter.

Call DRR and ask for Kim. She can get you in touch with a DRR dealer in California. If for some reason you can't make that happen, then give me a call.
