Agreed that the Outlander 400 will be one of the fastest but......compared to most of the 400-450cc's out there you're only looking at 1 to 2 mph faster, if that.

Outlander 400. In acceleration tests it is as fast as most 500s. It is the fastest 400 cc in the acceleration department according to every shootout I have read.

The Outlander and Kodiak 450 would be a close race IMO. For me, I would just save a better part of a grand and go with an Eiger and settle for being 1 or 2 mph slower! hehe!

Wolverines are very sporty, and will do 55 or better, I know my son can't even come close to me on long stretches of trail on his 300ex !! But a liquid cooled 400cc Rotax is hard to beat, that Outlander is a very quick quad, and has a good suspension to go with it.
