Foerman??? Take it outta the truck!!! 400 Outlander over the 450 Kod by a little. & that's a F A C T !!

 

Forman's aren't fast, the outlander is a great quad, I don't like the styling though. Give it Honda or Yamaha plastic and everything else as is, you'd have the perfect 400cc class quad. IMO

 

Im joking the honda 450 is slow but torquy and utility based.. But the fastest by far is the outlander give or take..

Heymakers right the kodiak450 you will not get left behind thats only cause i got one!!!!

 

How 'bout the Polaris SportsMan 400 (425cc's) ... I think it's quick (for it's weight!) .... Plus the Kodiak 450 is only 421cc's! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

 

Eiger and the Kodiak would be very good choices. The foremans are slow, but they have so much low end torque its not even funny. If i ever did get another utility it might be a Honda 450s. I just love the torque they have, yea you might outrun me, but lets see whos engine bogs down quicker in thick mud!!!

 

I would say the Wolverine, due to it's weight and sporty tires

 

I'd say the Outlander is the fastest. But I'd never buy it because of the looks. It looks like a Grown-up's version of a Power Wheels ATV. They are one ugly quad.

 

In a recent 400 shoot-out, the Outlander was the quickest. The Honda Rancher ES (329 cc) was faster in acceleration than a SP400. Is any 400 slower than a SP400?
