Yep the 4ooex is the fastest atv that will ever be made as long as you dont count any other make,model.
But seriously you should fry or broil raptors because smoking dries them out to much.

i have a honda 300EX and i put paddles on it and raced a 400EX that had a pipe, straight paddles, and less weight. i beat him. but when i added a new pipe to my quad, i raced a stock raptor and go smoked. so if the 400EX can beat a raptor, then how come a 300EX can beat a modified 400EX and not a stock raptor?

400ex beating a raptor, that has got to be the funniest thing i have ever heard.....a raptor can idle faster then a 400ex, people say it doesnt throw u off er w/e, well lets see, it has 25hp

Hi crobiker I assume you raced the 400ex in reverse so it makes sense you will beat one because you can only push a 400ex so fast backwards. but the raptor revs higher in reverse so it will be faster. Man am I bored as heck to be answering such silly posts.

Another person who, in there real life, cannot handle debate or confrontation so they come on their favorite sites and start a flame thrower.
BTW, StockRappy for under $5k I can build 400 that will stomp a knot in a "Rappy". Now that's how you start a flameathon! None of that sneak-a-round, foo-foo flicker flamin'!

Lots has to do with the driver also, so i have yet to race a raptor i love toasting sport cars out of the holeshot though[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] until i get to 65

My buddy has a 440EX and I have a 686 Raptor with 3x as much $$ invested. When we are just out for an afternoon trail ride, his quad keeps up just fine. I think the 400EX is one of the best deals out there unless you are actually racing. They are very cheap to buy, handle well, don't break, and are cheap to mod.
