ive read it once or twice in here, and a bunch in the other forums...that bombardier is closing down their whole recrational side....

but then ive also heard they sold it to someone else (but still selling under the "bombardier" name???)

should this prevent me from giving a dealer 6k for a baja? lol...just a little worried....

could someone clear this up for me

(the reason im left behind in the info is i just realized i wanted a new quad, let a lone the ds, around a week ago...so ive been getting all the info i could for the past few days, but this is just some info that hasnt gotten cleared up yet)

WHEW!

now to get my dad to let me buy this darn 03 baja for 5600! brand new.... he just is afraid the dealership is gonna be crooked

the dealership i drove to wisonsin to see yesterday SUCKED..... 00 ds for 3k...not bad right?

get there...right off they tell me its "as is" needed 300 dollars in parts/labor (ball joints upper and lower)

rear rims were bent to crap...

and then heres the great part.... i test drove it....oil light came on...checked dip stick...it took a QUART of oil.... so right after that we just left...

i figure if a used 00-02 ds/ ds baja is 3500-4500 i may as well buy a new one for 100-1500 more.... that way I get to break it in, and take care of it the way i want....

 

5600? i think thats a great deal, jeeze over here its like 10,000CA for one or more

 

ya i know its an awesome deal....im just having a slight bit of trouble convincing my parents a good dealership isnt going to sell me a used quad when they say its new for 5600.... (because the price is very low, they are worrying about it not being what the dealer claims it is)

i can see this as being an issue, since we would have to buy it from them new and ahve it shipped here (otherwise its a 7 hour drive each way to get it)
