Not sure. My Father in Law has just recently installed the Warn 424, and the difference in riding is amazing. The Rubicon becomes even more fun. Well worth it. Hope it does not void warranty.

Default Will the Warn 424 void my Rubicon's warranty?

Well I guess im confused on how it works. Does it always fully disengage/engage? Im worried it will stick in between and screw something up. I ride my Rubicon rather hard and I want to make sure this thing is gonna work and not cause problems in a year or two. I have heard all over this forum how much people like them, but has anyone had one for a couple thousand miles and still like it?

I love mine, it works great. I have had mine for over a year. It turned my Rubi into a completely different quad.It is the best mod I have ever added to a quad.It is a well made quality product in my opinion.

Do a search for this (Someone help me with my Warn 424) on this forum. It will give you some answers and some tips. Who did you get it from?

if you are concern about the warranty, you should ask the the company if it will void warranty or not? only they can answer it for ya.
each company is a bit different , so you sould not expect a yes or no answer from individuals.
I would think if you mess with the drive train componants they may decline paying for some repairs.

with that being said, I can comment how great the 424 works.
just installed it this afternoon on my rubicon, and i think it is worth every penny.
I can not tell how long it will hold up on the long run , but it looks pretty tough and well maid.

steering effort is cut 1/3 , it is almost as feels as light as my 2 wheel drive polaris.
sharp cornering,
and also seems it is more stable on a high speed straigth runs.

4 wheel drive is great , but it should be disconnectable when not needed, hopefully honda will come up with something for the next rubicon.

There was a local dealership selling the Ranchers with the 424 as an add-on. Why would they do this if it would effect the warranty? You should just call Honda warranty service and ask them.
