Any Banshee owners raced any 400ex's?

I raced one when I had my Banshee. I got the holeshot and I won, but he was real close at the end. Both quads were stock. Like I said, it was a good race.

I raced some at a harescramble in Millville MN. last weekend. They seemed like nice machines for sure, but they did seem to accelerate slower than I thought, especially going uphill. But overall, I thought they where real nice woods machines.

I'm sure you won't be disappointed with yours.

if you wan't to see ds with ron woods racing kit stage one on it pick up the may isue of 4-wheel atv action it says there was only one banshee that even came close to it or beat it some times. if you want more information of it pick up either the june dirt wheels or the may 4-wheel atv action they comepare. the dirt wheels compares the stage three kit to a alba with some mods on it including leager chassie parts on it and all sorts of things

I raced both machines with my stock banshee. I beat the 400ex bad and the ds beat me by about a length.

Ive raced a stock DS with my XC Banshee this past weekend over a dozen times in about a half mile strech and I could bust him out of the hole every time, but the 3-4-5 gears on that thing would catch me and eventually get me on top....first 'stroker to beat me. Guess i have to ditch those 2-into-1 pipes and head for an FMF/T5 version for drags....*sigh*.

I've raced em both too. The 400EX's was eating sand, but they're pretty good for only 50cc's more, one less cylinder, and being a 4 stroke. I raced 2 DS's at once, one had diferent exhaust, paddles, that's all that was visible, an he was beating me up comp hill by a l 1/2 length. the other DS was 1/2 or a length behind me. i got toomey's, k&n, and other odds and ends. all on the stock motor, never rebuilt.
