I have a guy that is willing to try making some drag pipes for me. I was going to try a dual drag pipe probably about 1 3/8 diameter seamless steel tubing with my stock flanges welded on to them. they will run pretty parallel to the frame rails, and connect to the footpegs. anyone have any ideas, or reasons that this wouldn't work?

 

isn't there only one port coming out of raptor. why would you split it. only benifit would be looks and sound.

 

There are 2 ports, but dual pipes will not work as well as a 2 into 1

 

Adam- while your idea is noble why mess with that?? Bob did not wave his magic wand and come up with the drag pipe. You need to get the size right, the bends right and then the length. Guys have tried to built there own drag pipe and failed.

 

I think it would work but like Ridr said it probably wouldn't do anything special for you but sound cool

 

Actually 2 pipes sounds crappy, we tried that

 

Oh well, guess that won't work. I'll just stick with the pipe I have now.
