Default Whats a good year for the Banshee?

Im thinking about buying a Banshee and was wondering if there was any difference between the years. I kinda want a newer one so it I wont run into too many problems. If I could I would rather buy a 2003 but I wont be able to get a green sticker because its a 2-stroke.

They are all pretty much the same except for the early years that had J arms.

Check the classifieds.

I have seen that most banshee's hold a good retail value…you could buy a used one, but in some cases throw in 1,500.00 and get a new one …

In California they have green stickers and red stickers. If you have a green sticker you can ride you bike any time you want. If you have a red sticker you can only ride it during the season which is like oct - march most of the time. Depending on the place. They dont want too many 2 strokes out there cus of pollution. If you have an 02 or older 2 stroke u can get the green sticker. If its 03 and newer you have to get the red sticker. Thats why I cant really buy a brand new one.

About the only diffenrence is that the j arm models are heavier than the a-arm models; everything else is pretty much the same. Slim
