DMV strikes again: "Got a banshee and blaster new 2 mo. ago i got green stickers.........." Wait a few years and they'll do this all over again with the grandfathering.

Check the 8th digit of your VIN for a C or 3. If it is a C or 3, then it SHOULD be a red sticker. From what I've heard, they can still give you a ticket even if DMV screwed up and sent the wrong sticker. Afterall, you *SHOULD* have known it was supposed to be a red sticker. If you run across a ranger checking things and they know the Blaster has the new nose in '03 he (or shee) will probably check that Banshee too.

Also, registering out of state could get you in a bit of a mess if you are ever stopped. If you are a CA resident your vehicles are supposed to be registered in CA. The get [ed.]cranky[/ed] like that. Plus, it helps to pay for the OHV parks.
