anyone out there put 50w light on the handlebars of their raptor?i want to do it and was interested to know how it works and how you wired it.stock or rewound stator?

 

Do'nt waste your money on the lazer light go to any auto parts store and look at some I took my stock lights off and put on a pair of 50w lights using the same hole mounts mine are oval shaped 2.5 by 3.5 in. spliced right in stock wiring .I uesd hella lights from autozone $39 unless you are doing serous night racing and need 4 lights these give off alot more light than stock

 

I put a 50 watter on my handle bars and it made a HUGE difference, nothing like being able to see where your turning.

I have not had any stator/battery problems. I was told you could add an additional 50 watts to the stock 35 ers with no problems.

I wired it to the high beams only.

 

Do you mean that Trailtech light/speedo combo??

 

not with the speedometer but yes like the trailtech handlebar mount set.

 

Yeah I have been meaning to buy the speedo light combo, just have not got around to it yet.

I haven't heard anything bad about them, except they get broken off .
