what new yamaha? the picture of the prototype in dirtwheels mag? I don't think we can speculate much on a bike we have only seen in a blurry "spy" photo. Other than that, it looks fast.

 

I think of it the same as I think of the new Eminem CD. I need to see and hear it before I care.

 

June 8th its on the yamaha site it shows about the top quarter in the pic . you will see it and probably hear it.

 

It excites me just from the top half I seen on yamaha.com

 

I didn't think the new model would be out for a couple years, but it's a '01 model.

 

It looks cool. If Yamaha puts in the YZ426 motor it will scream & will problaly be the top 400 sports quad, even over the soon to be released Cannondale. If Yamaha puts a 600cc motor in it nobody will be able to touch it. Not trying to slam the DS-650 but Yamaha will smoke it. I think the YZ426 with some mods will smoke the Ds-650. Just an opinion.

I think the blurry photos, etc... are total bull$#@% to attract attention and stir excitement. All of the car mags do this spy photo stuff. I believe it is all setup. Do you honestly believe that Dirt Wheels AND 4 Wheel Action would be at the same place at the same time with the same telescopic lens at the same distance.... I know they are owned by the same publisher, but I guarantee it was setup by Yamaha to be that way for some reason.
