Default 94 Yamaha Warrior... Needs More Low End!!!

Hi,
I have a 1994 Yamaha YFM350X Warrior. I was wondering what to put on it for more acceleration or how to tune the exaust pipe. What i have done to it to effect performance is... Carb jetting(not sure of the jets) and has a FMF Mega Max 2 Spark Arestor(with stock header) Is there any way i can get more Top End of adding aftermarket stuff or tuning my bike some how???

Thanx You,

And leave the top off of the air box .. that's supposed to give good gains though I'm not sure how good. Most people here dub it "free HP"

Just how much should you expect to get on a Warrior by removing the air box lid? Curious about that .. and what do you do about the air filter securing ?? it just kinda sits in there and the lid keeps it in place ..

If someone could answer the gain question for me I'd be most appreciative

NO NO NO!! do not remove the air box lid on the warrior you will ruin your motor. get a pipe kit/ pipe/filter/jets work a lot better and safter.. your filter is held in with your lid. drill 1'' holes near the back of your lid. if u want to do sumitn.. chekc out albaaction.com..

Glad you said that 2000IA .. I thought of doing that (leaving the lid off) last weekend after i cleaned my filter, but looking at it surmised that the lid holds the filter in place .. so didn't do it. Thanks

yes, if u pulled ur lid off, you would spend more money then you would gain power. you would most likey loose ur filter= meaning it would lay in the air box.. and you would suck all the dirt. and then have to bore your quad
