My friend bought a banshee about 6 weeks ago. He put new reeds, exhaust, port and polish, crank welded a few smaller things. Anyway, he was taking my 40 foot tabletop like he always does, but this time, his axle broke in half right at the lock nut. He took it in to the Yamaha dealership (which is also where I bought my 400EX) and they said the motorwork didn't void the warranty on his axle. Surprised me. That same dealership wouldn't even warranty my headlights when the bracket broke in 1 week because I put a K & N filter kit on it. I guess Yamaha just must be easier to work with.
If you want to see the pics of the banshee and other cool photos check em out here. www.geocities.com/hulionia/updates04.html

My other friend has a 2000 Warrior about 4 months old. His axle isn't broke yet, but definitely bent. He doesn't even jump it very hard. Hopefully Yamahas new sport quad doesn't host the same axle.
