You may have to get rebuild kit for the carb. Also, a good cleaning is usually a good thing too. I have a 185s that would idle, and when i hit the gas it did the the same thing (conk out). Also, you may need to set the fuel/air mixture screw properly. I messed around with mine quite a bit, then I found out that it needed to be turned all the way in, then turned out 2 turns for it to basicly be set, then you may have to adjust it a little depending on your elevation & other things, but that should it should be set in the ball park first. A 110 has a different carb than a 185, so you would want to check a service manual or at least someone who knows what a 110 ail/fuel jet should be set at initially.

You may need a new air filter too, if the motor is not getting enough air it can crap out. It's worth looking at anyways, to see what condidtion it is in. If it's rotten/dirty - replace it.

good luck to you.
