i'm going to get the mp racing trail/race porting and .040 shaved head. will the cpi pipe work better than my hpd trail pipe with my setup? i am most concerned with straight line acceleration and sand hillclimbing.

well it should be ok because your shaving the head a lot.

but that is a bit mutch your gonna have to ask someone that knows a little more than me.

 

yeah i'm not real sure they say to run the trail pipe with trail porting and race with race porting. I'm just not sure whats best with inbetween porting

 

as far i known the CPI pipe is toward more of a race pipe,so yes it should be better than a trail pipe...

that the good question,i have the HPD race pipe,if i were you CPI was my absolute first choice,they claim 11 hp gains the pipe alone...
remember there is a major hp gains from trail mods TO race mods version...i've made the step with HPD,it flat haul ***.
