How hard is it? any special tools needed? how much is the craycraft 686 job?

 

If you have time, patientance, torque wrentch, shop manual you can probably do the job. Craycraft 868's start out at about 75o dollars and the sky is the limit. How extreme do you want to go?? Craycraft has a 1650 dollar kits that has all the top of the line goodies in it. Ferra stainless valves, new valve seals, port/polish, boring, piston, cam, gaskets, jets and coatings. Go with the signature motor for $1650, best money you'll spend on your Raptor.You will not believe the difference over stock/piped, it's a completely different animal. It took me about 6 hours to put mine back together and I triple-checked everything as I went. If you let your buddies take a spin, you'll hear words like, "too fast, stupid fast, dangerous" and my favorite, "can I take it for another ride?":-)
